I think that the Schwaz win in California reduced the chance that Mrs. Clinton will run this time. The Clinton machine made an all out attempt to bring down the three main obstacles to a Clinton run. Schwaz turned the assault aside with seemingly no effort. Rush is not noticeably hurt and will probably gain audience and the Wilson "leak" scandal has already faded without produucing anything. It would take W dying in office or being caught with a boy monica to bring Mrs Clinton to try it in 04.In 08 she doesnt have an incumbent to deal with and the dems look set to lose anyway this time around. Her best bet is to not run and to help to secure a loss by whatever Crat is the nominee in 04.

Twelve years ago on this date almost no one believed the little-known AR governor had a snowball's chance against GHWB. Three years ago the country gave NY voters more credit than they eventually deserved.
