I asked:
"Do you think folks are born gay?"" and you responded:
What does that have to do with a talking dog?
Nothing directly, but I seem to find you defending homosexuals so I'm curious, and the original poster expressed their concerns about a movie and it's possible homosexual overtones, and again you seem to dilute their concerns. Do you think folks are born gay?

Considering Hollywood is filled with liberals and that their agenda is quite clear, I don't think it's always paranoia.
A parent has a right to choose what their children see. They can take this info and do what they want with it.
I remember a few years ago on a liberal board they were beside themselves on the homosexual overtones in A&E's Horatio Hornblower series. Even after they pointed it out, I couldn't see it. Could it be that certain libs see gay EVERYWHERE?

It's been my experience that those who WANT to see some sinister influence in popular culture WILL find it.
I've also noticed that those who seem to be warring against homosexuality the hardest, tend to be those who themselves are fighting the battle against personal homosexuality, either consciously or unconsciously.
Frankly, I could care less what two or more consenting adults do in the privacy of their own homes, as long as they do it in private and don't endanger others by their activities. Oh, yes, and that they don't ask the public to fund their various activities. That runs the whole gamut from swingers to gays to some of the odder sexual kinks.
I find the whole topic of gays rather distasteful, to say the least, but then I find any group demanding special rights or the re-definition of milennia-old traditions because it doesn't fit their "Lifestyle" rather distasteful as well.
In a phrase: "Back into the closet, ALL of you. . ."

I will believe in the conspiracy when, instead of Barbie and Ken, Mattel starts making Justin and Bruce dolls.

San Francisco Billy Dolls
Shown here in brown hair and available in blonde (natural, really). Fitted in that always chic, "Castro" attire. Billy proudly wears a strand of "freedom rings" over a silk screened "Billy" sweatshirt. Look at those beef-cake thighs. I'm all yours honey.

If this movie were a dog I'd shoot it. It was awful, but my 4 yr old liked it.
I recoiled at the gay couple to and I couldn't believe the "then you got no balls" crack the 10 yr old in the movie made to the bullies.

But does he have his own camper, condo, horse, pool, and speedboat, like Barbie? Plus 2,500 different outfits, a gazillion accessories, AND a complete wardrobe of wigs??

I've also noticed that those who seem to be warring against homosexuality the hardest, tend to be those who themselves are fighting the battle against personal homosexuality, either consciously or unconsciously. I hear that occasionally. Unfortunately folks who make such statements never seem interested in what the experts have to say about homosexuality.
Frankly, I could care less what two or more consenting adults do in the privacy of their own homes, as long as they do it in private and don't endanger others by their activities.
That's just it. We wouldn't be discussing it if homosexuals kept it private. For some reason some homosexuals just don't want to keep it private, and in fact want to broadcast their sexual activities. Unfortunately for the homosexual, their chosen lifestyle is a very hazardous lifestyle, and one in which could kill by tainting the blood supply.
If you're interested in what the experts say, read 'em.

Santa Billy Doll
He's back and this seductive Santa stud is eager to climb down your chimney this holiday season. Surely this doll puts the "gay" in gay ol' christmas and would make the perfect gift for that special friend or loved one. But you'd better get him on his sleigh headed your way soon because only 1,000 of these dolls will be released this season. Santa Billy comes in one hair color - blonde and beautiful.
Tattoo Billy Dolls
Here's a new hot new stud for you. This Billy lives up to his name with the groovy "tats" all over his hot body. He comes with a pair of low hung, lycra trunks and a personalized thirsty towel. Thirsty?
You just CAN'T make this stuff up.

I've also noticed that those who seem to be warring against homosexuality the hardest, tend to be those who themselves are fighting the battle against personal homosexuality, either consciously or unconsciously.LOL!! And do you feel that those who fought against slavery were fighting the battle against a personal desire to enslave others, either consciously or unconsciously.
Those who fought against Hitler had some inner conflict with their own anti-Semitism.
Sorry, I think that comment is not only silly but bigoted. You dismiss religious beliefs to be nothing more than a mental confusion. You're wrong on that point.
As for the rest of your post, I pretty much agree with you. Their jump from tolerance to acceptance is a leap I'm not willing to make.

Where have I defended homosexuals? You tried to dilute mandingo republican's concerns about the movie entitled Good Boy. You called nathanbedford "a nut" for expressing his own concerns. I'm not going to search the archives to demonstrate what many seem to think, perhaps somebody else will do just that... if you don't want to answer the question on whether you think folks are born gay then say so. Otherwise, do you think folks are born gay? It's a simple enough question that requires a simple yes or no answer.

Could it be that certain FReepers see gays EVERYWHERE Yes, it's amazing the obsession some here have with what other men are doing with their @nuses.
You would almost think they have "issues" themselves, wouldn't you?
