We need to oust Senator Landrieu. I encourage Reps in LA to treat this race like it's pivotal to maintain control of the Senate, even though it isn't. (Also, the GOP can pick up another House seat, too).

Don't take anything for granted.

Not gain, just maintain. The 5th has been firmly in Republican hands for years. Rep John Cooksey ran third in the race for Senate against Landrieu and will be returning to his ophthalmology practice.
