I'm trying to talk the Wife into a Thanksgiving trip to Baton Rouge. The hotels attached to the casino's have cheap rates and Hilton garden Inn and the business suite hotels are running specials that weekend. Isnt Baton Rouge Livingstones old district?

I'm not from Louisiana though my mother has lots of family there. I'm not sure if Bob Livingston's district reached all the way to Baton Rouge, but he was from Metairie just outside New Orleans.

Livingston was from the LA 1st which is the burbs around NO. Baton Rouge is the 4th. Ably served for many years by Richard Baker(R).
