Poll Ping!

Interesting article on the GOP prospects in Iowa. Granted, all the polling is partisan GOP polling, but even if the numbers are puffed up by the normal amounts, things might look brighter in the House races there than many have intimated.

U.S. Senate candidate Greg Ganske and gubernatorial candidate Doug Gross are within low single digits of their Democratic rivals, Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, who hover around a weak 50 percent.

Seriously, that 22-point lead for Harkin in that latest SurveyUSA poll stunk to high Heaven. And obviously the POTUS and VPOTUS would not be trekking to Iowa if the races weren't competitive. [fingers crossed]
