I went to a Steve Forbes breakfast fundraiser for Matt this morning. John Shadegg showed up; he was great, as usual. Our own polls show Matt ahead (by a bit).

Shadegg was pessimistic about the US Senate. I asked him why no ads are running in those states electing senators about the Pledge of Allegiance flap and the importance of judgeships. He said it sounded like a good idea. Too bad it's not happening.

A friend at work told me that Matt had been behind in the polls during his house campaigns and he managed wins for the years he's been our representative...I just can't stomach the thought of THAT WOMAN being our governor...she was on the prosecutor's staff for Anita Hill vs. Clarence Thomas! Why doesn't someone bring THAT up!

I do believe that the leftist paper and those affiliated with it are printing such slanted polling numbers as to get the people thinking that El Reno will win and for her opposition to stay home.

I believe he is further ahead than many of us have heard/read but who wants to get their hopes up. I think Matt will win. Everytime I see El Reno (Janet) she makes me want to puke.
