Gunder I am confused, I was under the impression that Coleman is an Independent or "other" or do I have my wires crossed? If I do please bring me up to speed. Thanks.

If you're referring to NORM Coleman, he's the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Minnesota. He's giving ultra-liberal Paul Wellstone a serious run for his money. There really isn't a third party candidate who's hurting Coleman. Pretty much everyone who's right of center is squarely behind him.
