My note: Warren is a Libertarian (really a Constitution Party guy though). His only opponent, Ransdall, is a Democrat. This means no GOP are going to be voted against. Please if you are in the area, fight to defeat Ransdall. Here is a list of some cities in the 148th district, so you know if any friends or relatives live in the area:
Richland
Dixon
Waynesville
St. Robert
Crocker
Swedeborg
Hancock
Devil's Elbow
some of Ft. Leonard Wood
PULASKI COUNTY RESIDENT GRANT WARREN FILES FOR ELECTION TO MISSOURI HOUSE, 148th DISTRICT
Pulaski County, MO -- March 2002 -- Under the Libertarian Party banner, Pulaski County resident Grant Warren has filed with the Missouri State Election Commission to run for the seat Currently Held by Bill Ransdall.
Mr. Warren is 24 years old, an employee of Quaker Windows of Freeburg, and has served as a committeeman for the Constitution Party in the 2000 elections. Grant is a strong supporter of the right of the people to bear firearms under the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution, and also stands behind the effort to secure "concealed carry" rights for Missourians.
Grant believes in greater local control over the public schools as well as the right of parents to choose public schools, private schools, or home schooling. He also believes in: the sanctity of innocent human life, including the lives of the unborn; in limits on legal immigration, and an end to illegal immigration; no tax-funded benefits to illegals.
As an alternative to the complex Missouri State Income Tax laws, Grant proposes the introduction of a Bill to replace that funding vehicle with a simple state sales tax. "I believe this will help stimulate the state's economy, as well as give taxpayers more control over how much tax they pay," Warren said in a recent conversation.
Grant is a member of Missouri First, Inc., an organization dedicated to preserving the freedoms and sovereignty of Missourians, and worships at Victory Fellowship Church of God in Waynesville.

Do not let the Libertarian banner fool you; Grant is really more along the lines of the Constitution party. But, he chose to register as a Libertarian instead of Republican (I am not sure, but I think simply because you could not register as a Constitution Party member....you would have to go through the annoying process of trying to get on the ballot as an independent). Specifically, he is not for open borders, opposes legalizing pot, and is pro-life all the way.
Let's send the Democrat incumbent a message. Some of his supporters have been tearing up Grant's fliers in his office. Furthermore, these same Democratic voters have been posting Ransdall's fliers all around his office. This shows you the type of behavior that is being perpetrated by the Democrats in the area.
This is such a local political race I wasn't sure if I wanted to post it here, but Grant is a friend and I want to see him win.
