Not good news for Montana Republicans. With Montana leaning so far to the right, I hope they remember not to elect this leftist for another SIXyear term.
Either Racicot or Rehberg probably would have knocked Baucus from his perch. Unfortunately they both declined to run. Some still think Taylor (assuming he wins the primary) can make a race of it, but he's obviously at a huge disadvantage in funds. But if he can make up some ground in the polls, then I'm sure the President and VP could help him a bit financially.
The bad news for Baucus is last year 55% of the voters in one poll were considering replacing him.
