Marjorie Taylor Greene continues criticism of GOP's shutdown response, healthcare plan on The View

"When I talk about weak Republican men, I am pretty much talking oftentimes about the leadership in the House and Senate, and they are just not getting our agenda done," she said.

In recent weeks, Greene has pushed for her own party to share an alternative plan to replace the current Affordable Care Act, specifically calling out House Speaker Mike Johnson.

"Republicans never fixed it … And then the ACA tax credits were passed in 2021 … and Republicans never made a plan for that," Greene said.

She criticized Johnson for keeping the House in recess, saying, "We should be at work."

"I yelled at Mike Johnson last week on our GOP conference call … I hope that Mike Johnson is finally giving a single health care policy, because the country deserves it, and it shouldn't be a secret."

Ron Johnson has a solid proposal and that is passing an affordable catastrophic health care bill for people who wish to opt out of the corrupt and failing corporate healthcare model

For the everyday working class American, ObamaCare has become nothing more than what used to be inexpensive catastrophic care at unaffordable prices because the high deductibles on ObamaCare pretty mean you are paying out of pocket for most non catastrophic heath care expenses

They don't have the oppressive overhead associated with insurance companies and they can concentrate on patients using old fashioned doctor patient relationship healthcare

My healthcare costs are about $ 2500 per year out of pocket for what would be considered gold plated proactive healthcare but I am cost conscious because I pay out pocket for services

What I need for health care is a low deductibles catastrophic care package that covers me if I get into an accident a break some bones , need an operation or if I get a serious condition like cancer or a heart attack

This is the way medical care used to be and the way it could be for sane, responsible people and what the original concept of health insurance used to look like

The whole “ healthcare consumer” concept is fundamentally flawed and is what is destroying our medical system .

My philosophy is to take care of my heath and have regular doctor visits to catch heath problems early and deal with them proactively,

My goal is not to “consume health care” , it is to stay healthy so I do not consume healthcare.

What America needs is old fashioned healthcare insurance that puts people in charge of their healthcare spending priorities and out of pocket expenses while protecting them from being ruined financially by an unexpected major medical expense

A medical savings account that one could make tax free contributions to would add to the effectiveness of the program

The Catastrophic Care proposal by Ron Johnson does exactly that and it restores cost control incentives to people's healthcare

I knew it was coming when she got close to Kevin McCarthy... She divorced her husband shortly after developing her close friendship with McCarthy. She also changed her political positions.

MTG was always a loose cannon, but McCarthy was able to keep her under control. There has NEVER been an allegation that the two had an affair.
