Let’s vacate the chair.

In most of my posts I have said the conservatives in many ways are just like the liberals. They are in it for themselves.

Let’s take a look on what the bill has that seems to be the problem in getting:

Republicans highlighted funding for Border Patrol agents and more detention beds, as well as a ban on funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, the main humanitarian agency operating in Gaza, through March 2025. The bill also includes several conservative policy wins. It prevents the federal government from banning gas stoves, puts restrictions on which flags can be flown over U.S. diplomatic facilities and maintains a provision banning federal funds from covering abortion services. It removes the funding bill that combined border and Ukraine so they will have to accomplish that, if they can, separately and not one lump earmark.

So they can’t continue to throw money at the Ukraine without congress, they are making efforts to improve the border problem by funding more agents, they are creating more detention areas at the border, it cuts off federal money for abortion service, it cuts off funding to the UN for Palestinian relief packages that aren’t getting to the people and are not supressing the war by making it easier to keep their own people from stopping them.

And all the liberals got was funding for child care and education programs, medical research, mental health care and an extension of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, PEPFAR.

The Senate approved the $1.2 trillion package, which was unveiled early Thursday in a vote of 74 to 24. Hours earlier, it advanced out of the House in a 286 to 134 vote. Seems to me the blackmail worked.

And they want to remove him for this. This must be the same congress that went after Trump no matter which party they were in. I guess success for the conservatives of any size is not enough.

And you can be assured that all or nothing at all will be nothing at all because conservatives as usual do not understand success. Not only are they stupid and/or dishonest, they are greedy.

And if I remember right 4 of the 7 deadly sins were pride, greed, gluttony and sloth. They need to add RNC.

And on removing Johnson by Greene threat:
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Friday introduced a motion to vacate against House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), threatening a future vote to oust him. Greene said she would bring the vote to remove Johnson if he attempts to pass Ukraine aid, which she and other hardline Republicans fervently oppose.

And that’s exactly what the bill did.
