The hysterical attacks by Trump, his army of paid influencers and his paid ads are a calculated effort to accomplish a coup de main - a coronation signaling an early end to the primaries. It’s a risky gambit because it’s not clear he can keep up this rate of spending.
It’s essentially a replay of his strategy against Joe Biden. Trump’s problem then was that by August 2020, he had run out of cash. After that, he sustained wave after wave of ads and paid social media attacks, while a huge Democrat GOTV effort went on in the background, without having the cash to respond in kind. That was enough for Biden to beat him by 5% in the popular vote and, more crucially, top him in the electoral vote.
In 2020, Trump was like the runner who comes out of blocks with an early lead, but ends up being an also-ran because he peaked too early. At the rate he is blowing through cash, with all the legal issues he brought upon himself, the 2024 primary cycle may end up being the 2020 election campaign in miniature with an early lead that dissipates due to lack of funds. This is why he needs the other primary candidates to bow out early - financially-speaking, Trump can’t go the distance.
I agree its a gamble, even if Trump and American freedom is taken I will still vote Trump. Even if It becomes a “crime” I will vote Trump now.
I liked your post with hopes that next time you can include Rinos aiding and abetting. The swamp Uni Party. It seems some of the anti Trump rank and file GOP membership are very comfortable with a RINO controlled GOP.
No, I do not support these politically motivated charges, as I believe that's what they are. I hope he can prove his innocence, not only for his sake, but for ours, as all Republicans are now on trial by proxy.
But the truth is, he's not looking very strong, whether he can make a mean face during his mug shot or not. He did do/say some things that are legally going to be a problem.

That may infuriate you, but when people are talking about "constitutional crisis" and "civil war" it has to be in support of something that's solid, and Trump is not solid, when it comes to principles. And when the GOP takes the White House, all of Trump’s persecutors need to be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted, where wrongdoing is found, to the full extent of the law. Long prison terms are indicated for serious abuses of power, even if the trail leads all the way up to Biden, Hillary and Obama.
DeSantis, a guy whose middle name might as well be follow-through, is the man for such an endeavor. He kicked Chamber of Commerce shills like Catsimatidis and Griffin to the curb when they objected to his policies. He knocked a couple of elected Soros prosecutors off their perches despite the usual caterwauling from Democrat race-baiters. If necessary, he will sideline as many Federal employees as needed until he puts in the dock the bad guys who went after Trump.
