These are repeat felons. You need more eyes to watch after them.
But...what is ultimately needed is judges that actually sentence these animals to real prison time. Too often they are charged and released by the courts.
They might have. St. Paul is understaffed to the tune of about 85 officers. That equates to approx. 15-20 more cars per shift on duty. They’re trying to cover the shortfall with overtime. But that is rapidly burning out the officers. More cops=greater visibility on the streets. And it’s been proven repeatedly, high visibility of police deters crime.
