All the border walls in the world won't stop people from getting here. It's basic conservative economics: If you incentivize something, people will do what you incentivize.

Right now, we are incentivizing people to come here, even people who don't want to.

People will find away to get here, even with the most high-tech wall in the world., because there is a fincancial incentive.

Right. As Milton Friedman stated: A welfare state can’t afford open borders.

Of course, all we need to do is recognize the federal welfare state isn’t constitutional (it isn’t) and a lot of the problem goes away.
