Republican Alaskan Kelly Tshibaka announced she will be challenging Senator Lisa Murkowski in the 2022 Senate primary after Murkowski was censured by the Republican Party for voting in favor of impeaching Trump last year.
Now, a new poll reveals that Murkowski is losing to Tshibaka by double digits.
This does not mean that Murkowski is in trouble. Murkowski lost her last primary. She then ran as an independent against the Republican nominee and won her Senate seat by getting some RINO votes and Democrat votes. It's apparently a winning formula up in Alaska.

She actually did not run as an independent - the law there allowed her to run as a write-in and keep the Republican Party affiliation - even listed as such on a list of write-in candidates as Republican.
This time around there will be no party primaries - so these articles who keep posting that are apparently not aware of the rule changes. The top 4 finishers in a jungle primary will advance on to the general election - as the incumbent Senator she will most likely make the general election ballot.
