The constitution does, but if the state legislature ordered another vote in order for the votes to be counted I believe it would be constitutional.

It is the only remedy. There is no other way to accept the vote and the legislature would not want to unilaterally decide the election. Call it a safety valve for politicians.

After all, this is pretty high stakes and people will not trust the result otherwise. Why would Biden be afraid of this? He won, right?

So the counties that cheated get a mulligan? That is absolutely not fair and total crap. The legislature needs to pick the electors.

I don’t see how you could possibly have a re-vote.

Who would vote? Only those who voted before? A free-for-all? The population of Georgia would quadruple.

Are people supposed to promise to vote the same way they did before? If they can change their mind, then what is the point.

Who would count the votes? The same people who cheated, now?

One thing I like about all this:

It shows just how ugly and shabby supposedly “virtuous” Democracy is.

It’s still just one troop if monkeys clubbing at the other with femur bones.

There have been cases were a judge ha ordered a re-vote. However it might depend on the state.
