The author apparently never had physics. Newton's First Law of Motion or the Law of Inertia: An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Biden has been holed up in his basement for the past 5 days. No one goes to his campaign events. And now a force acted upon Biden last night at the debate. It was certainly an unbalanced force. No need to go into vectors here, but let's just say they can have negative magnitude.
