In my long life following politics, I have virtually never seen an election that didn't follow this pattern:
A big majority of females vote for the Dem candidate,
and a big majority of males for the GOP candidate.
I am guessing that maybe, just maaayyybe, the 1972 and 1984 bloodbath elections might have had a slim majority of females voting GOP. But even then, I have my doubts.
Conventional wisdom has always been that number one on women’s voting issues is security. If that is so, then which candidate is more likely to provide national, economic and personal security? Trump!

The fact is that the RNC absolutely IS terrified of losing mushy “moderate” (actually liberal) voters despite the fact that this issue is a slam-dunk benefit for Republicans. Or at least it would be if the RNC weren’t such wimps.
There’s only one thing that terrifies the RNC even more: the prospect of 4 more years of Donald Trump in the White House.
