Patrons at a Washington, D.C. restaurant were ceaselessly pestered and yelled at by a group of protesters on Monday night for apparently refusing to clench their fists in solidarity with the protesters. “White silence is violence,” chanted the protesters, and “No justice, no peace!” in an apparent effort to get a defiant woman to raise her fist like other patrons around her. A separate clip posted online shows protesters harassing a couple who refused to raise their fists as they yell “No justice, no peace!”

I was listening to Massad Ayoob recently (I think being interviewed by Gresham on GunTalk), and he was talking about how to deal with these mobs if you are surrounded in your car.

If I understood him correctly, you can’t shoot them/run them over unless they are aiming weapons at you or trying to get your door open/take you out of your vehicle. If any of those, then you’re clear to defend yourself and engage.
But a mob invading a restaurant, standing in your space, screaming in your face demanding political obsequiousness, and implying violence for non-compliance?
If not armed, I am thinking at the very least, cutlery, wine bottle, wine glasses, hot soup or coffee...and a lawyer on speed dial.

I’m a big fellow and I have been in situations where I had to get the attention of a whole crowd of people jibber-jabbering away. While not a hostile crowd, the noise level was such that I could have stood there for an hour and not been able to call the meeting to order, so...
Out of the blue “The Flight of the Valkyries” rang out at the top of my lungs and the room went dead quiet. It was like turning a switch.
Something similar happened a few months ago when a bunch of punks invaded a library and it took a Chinese student to announce “Quiet, this is library!” Shut them right up.
I would like to think that I would stand up, announce “You don’t like White silence ? OK, HERE !” and launch into the Star Spangled Banner while motioning the rest of the diners to start singing.

Yes, that is the best and most common advice I have heard. Freeper and author Matt (???) provides the same advice. Situation awareness. If you can, drive an auto with plenty of ground clearance (not a corvette) so you can drive over curbs and onto sidewalks as you execute a u turn

If somebody pulls a gun in front of my vehicle, as in the photo attached to the article, I’m going head down and hammer down. Period. I’m not going to wait to be shot.
In cases where guns are not seen, I’ll drive forward at 5mph. This gives any roadblockers the choice to walk out of the way, or not. Their choice. No human can stop a car moving even at 5hp.
If a window is broken, I’ll take it as a warning that commercial fireworks (incendiary grenade inside a vehicle) or a molotov cocktail is coming in. So if a window is breached, I’m going head down and hammer down.
The big mouth woman says it all. We will get in your face wherever and whenever we want. It seems to me when ever the black feel threatened during these “peaceful protests” they back off or leave the scene and the white stooges stand there and take the blame.
There will be a certain percentage of the population that will vote Democrat no matter what. That percentage is much bigger than you think.
