Well, on that point, I think they were just completely delusional and thought if they could only pass the amnesty bill, they could get all the new immigrants to become GOP voters and have their own little demographic fiefdom like the left had the blacks since the 60s.
I know they use to think that. I think 2 decades of evidence should tell them that is not the case.
