Former Fox News and NBC News anchor Megyn Kelly slammed NBC on Thursday for removing several episodes of shows featuring actors in blackface but firing her in 2018 for defending blackface makeup for Halloween.
The story: Taking a hit at former NBC chairman Andy Lack, Kelly wrote, So it turns out that when Andy Lack said there is no place on our air for my discussion of blackface, it was b/c NBC was already chalk-full of shows and major stars actually wearing blackface on the air at NBC.
Her tweet comes after Variety reported about several 30 Rock episodes where actors wore blackface being taken down.
In a Wednesday tweet, Kelly sarcastically asked, Wait what network aired those episodes again?

It’s chock full. Not chalk. Jeez, Megyn.
“Chalk-full”? That’s either a great play on words or one of the most idiotic. For the life of me, I can’t tell which. lol
For Halloween once many years ago, I wore green face with my teeth blacked out.
Was imitating a friend who got sick drunk, fell and knocked out a tooth.
I wonder if that will get me in trouble??
“Chock one up” to modern Public Uneducation.
There is a pun there, surely! but I don’t see it.
“White as chalk” to describe someone very pale. So... NBC is “chalk-full” (full of white, pasty folks) of people in black-face. That’s what I got when I first read it, anyway. :)
Chalk Full O’Nuts is that heavenly coffee...
Then there’s the Romney favorite...”I’ve got binders chock full of women...”.
Or that people are using black chalk to paint their faces.
NBC is more like that brand of coffee - Chock Full O’ Nuts...
Like you, I see no pun; and stop calling me Shirley.
Ralk Chock Jayhalk!
Chalk-full? Thats either a great play on words or one of the most idiotic. For the life of me, I cant tell which. lol”
Maybe she just doesn’t know it’s “Chock-full”. We are talking celebrities here after all.
