Nope. Facebook and Twitter and Youtube are already regulating media despite their claims of being common carriers and not responsible for content on their sites.
They want it “both ways”. This is just holding them accountable for their editorial censorship while denying any liability for content.
Twitter is not a common carrier-——it is a publicly-held company subject to the laws of the SEC.

Exactly, that's the root of the issue right there. If they want to censor, they have to assume liability for content, but like you said, they want it both ways. Just like RIAA and so on, who will argue either that you have a license to their content, or ownership, whichever works to their advantage in a given case.
I would Agree, and Twitter Just Published!! any claims of immunity from liability should be smoked because of it.
