Flattening the curve is a new term for most of us not steeped in the world of public health or epidemiology. Prior to the Chinese Coronavirus making a mess of lives and economies, this term might have featured in a Saturday morning infomercial on the latest weight loss fad. Now it has become the holy grail of fighting this viral pandemic.

The New York Times, in a rare moment not bashing President Trump, explains flattening the curve. There are two curves, a steep one and a flat one, as we have seen endlessly on the news.

Let the doctors practice medice; at least while they are practicing, hopefully they can get it right !
Let the economics leaders direct the industries , corporations, and businesses of the country.
Let the President lead the country out of this Chinese made crisis !

Let each lead according to their abilities !
When you go out of your area of expertise, you have allowed over-reach.

flatten Trump rally turnout footage.

Force many into long-term welfare dependency

And

Keep the headlines focused on the virus and off of them.

The more self-sufficient people become, the likelihood of them voting for a democrat decreases dramatically. The only people who want dependency are those who have no desire or will to earn it. Those willing to earn it accept, despise external interference from the government.
