I’m glad you think so, but you should understand most people don’t share your take.

Been drinking vodka tonics since I heard about it. With a splash of cranberry of course. However it is hard to find tonic water recently.
Many 'tonic' waters have little to almost no quinine - many of them chemically derived, not directly brewed/extracted from cinchona. From what other people I know have said, Fever Tree is one of the better ones, though.
What's even better, is MUCH cheaper, tastes better, and has more quinine, is making your own tonic syrup.

Buy CUT or WHOLE cinchona bark, do NOT get the powder. Cut will be powdered enough by the time the mail gets it to you. That link is the best place I've been able to find to get it.
- I used dried lemongrass, as we had a big bag of it anyway, and fresh lemongrass isn't as easy to find as you'd think. Came out fine but I haven't done fresh yet to compare.
- Black/green cardamon doesn't make any noticeable difference. Too many other strong flavors to notice such a slight distinction.
- Filter it really well, use a drip coffee bowl thing to hold the filters, swap them every so often. They'll get clogged with all the cinchona powder pretty quick. And if you don't filter that out, you can get too strong on the quinine. Which is not good.

From Metcalf & Eddy, Wastewater Engineering, Treatment & Reuse., 4th Ed., Chap 12 Disinfection, c2003 (Chinese translation of the US textbook). p. 1223 Chap 12-2
Mechanisms of Disinfectants
The five principal mechanisms that have been proposed to explain the action of disinfectants are (1) damage to the cell wall, (2) alteration of cell permeability, (3) alteration of the colloidal nature of the protoplasm, (4) alteration of organism DNA or RNA, and (5) inhibition of enzyme activity.
3 principal disinfectants are addressed” Chlorine, Ozone, and UV Radiation (240-280 nm for nucleic acids in microorganisms as most important absorbers.)
Metcalf & Eddy is a default Sophomoric Civil Engr textbook for Wastewater and Water treatment. 1st Ed circa 1912 as American Sewage Practice, and 2nd ed in 1930 for engineering schools.
UV more effective than Chlorine in inactivating most viruses, spores, cysts.
