President Trump has acknowledged that the federal stockpile of personal protective equipment is nearly depleted, and there are reports the Obama administration failed to replenish the federal stockpile of N95 masks after the H1N1 influenza outbreak in 2009.
USA Today fact-checked that claim and it didnt turn out too well for Barack Obama or Joe Biden.

They also gutted the military.
Is there anything Obama didn’t deplete?
Come to think of it...
Yeah, USA Today is about as rabidly TDS as can be.
Oh, my goodness!
Obama was an Expert at using things up
Including my retirement account... via Obamacare.
Divisiveness.
I'm sure this was front page USA today correct? But given hotel occupancy is at 20% I suppose not many people will see this truth.
I posted this report on Facebook and my PC-policing friends demonized me for posting. One saying I should be ashamed of myself and another said I shouldnt be allowed to post reports like this. I took a moment
to look at their FB sites ... you guessed it filled w litany of TDS screeds.
Footnote: all 3 of the ones who attacked me are or were very senior executives at blue chip firms, the biggest in the world. All 3 are very highly educated at the top universities in the country. Classic, huh?
“Is there anything Obama didnt deplete?”
Yeah. His portfolio and bank accounts.
EBT cards.
Hope Rush comments on this today to get it out there.
I just posted the story on FB. I’ll have to let you know if I get flamed which I might by some but it is a true story.

So, the real question is, how did Trump cause this? /sarc
Hmm... Things bammy didn't "deplete"...
Answer: Yes.
The government needs to be in partnership with companies that make critical goods. Instead of buying and storing inventory they need to create contracts that the vendor will maintain a buffer supply and a certain premium with regular rotation of the inventory. That would eliminate the problem of obsolete items and storage problem(s).
The left’s answer is “Why didn’t Trump replace the masks. It’s the responsibility of an incoming president to gather all of the things he needs in order to do his job.”
It’s bullsh!t. If you use up the last scrap of toilet paper in the house, and don’t replace it or even mention it to your wife, then what follows is YOUR fault.
Presidents are not responsible for accounting every nut and bolt. They are supposed to have the knowledge that the people who came before them were responsible enough not to leave the frigging coffers empty.
More proof that the founders were correct to exclude the children of foreigners from being President with the natural born citizen requirement.
My friends if the government DOES it’s job it doesn’t get noticed. The Kenyan NOT doing his job didn’t get noticed until the SHTF 10 years later. Memories are short and easy to sweep under the rug. Trump is the highest official to speak out. He HAS to be quoted and the naysayers then go to work second guessing him. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance and too many of us are asleep at the switch.
Perhaps this is a lesson learned. Supply chains are complex and then government gets involved. I don't care if a Rat or a Republican is running government, government is going to be inefficient. It's a whole faster to place an order to resupply and while you are waiting you go to your own stockpile. Hospitals have backup generators for electricity and don't expect to go to the government for electricity when the power goes out. But it makes you wonder how much diesel they have on hand.
