‘Middle of the Road’ means you are subject to being hit by vehicles from EITHER direction.

I suspect it is the “middle of the road” Americans are the dampers that keep us from going too far in either extreme.

Can you imagine what our nation would be like if there were no “middle of the road”? By that I mean everyone has a strong opinion leaning one way or the other. There would be two camps with neither side willing to give up their beliefs.

I suspect that is what allows civil wars to be fought.

Of course you are correct.

If we ALL considered R Limbaugh to be Liberal and were just a tad right of Atilla the Hun we would have big problems.

Then again, if there were enough of us..............

The problem is that one side tried to mainstream the extreme. Republicans have not moved.

-Leftists have moved the center of the Democrat party to the hard left;

—National health care,

—total gun bans,

—abortions to... beyond birth,

—Redistribution of wealth system disguised as environmentalism global warming to re-make our culture, economy and lives.

NO. The “Middle” is now the racist, sexist, nazi fascist right, and the left is nothing less than Marxism.

And it started in the 1960’s. Saul Aninskey, and his demon spawn Hillary and Obama.
