If they couldn’t get Trump off the ticket in 2016, there is NO WAY IN HELL they’ll get him off in 2020.
And yes, they tried, really hard to remove Trump in 2016, led by Paul Ryan. What stopped them in their tracks was when elected Republicans were told, IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, that if Trump wasn’t on the ticket, the base, THE ENTIRE BASE, was simply going to stay home...and hence cost them their seats.
And if you want to know what the base BASE looks like, just look at the vote percentages for Ross Perot in 1992.
And those numbers were AFTER election manipulation by the Media and the Uniparty, which President Trump has revealed to be a real "thing".
