I’m sorry, but you are DEAD WRONG on your assessment of today’s Democrat Party. Biden had that entire field (i.e., moderate) TO HIMSELF at the start, given his record on things like Anita Hill, the Crime Bill, Abortion, and other issues. Instead of staying there, he RAN FOR THE HILLS, renounced everything that he had been moderate on, and joined the far left. He had to have done this for a reason...and the reason is that Democrat Primary voters are now FLAMING LEFTISTS...and no one perceived as moderate in any way has a prayer - and Biden’s people knew it, and have been racing to make Biden look “Woke” to use their terminology.
Now, if you take your premise and apply it to the general public, by saying that the overall voter pool (Dems, Reps, and Independents) want a “Kinder, Gentler, Administration”...I’m totally on board on that.
