Meet the expert who correctly predicted the election result using social media

While the pollsters continue to come under fire for getting the election result so wrong there was one man who correctly predicted the outcome.

Bela Stantic, of Griffith University, previously predicted Britain's Brexit result and that Trump would become president.

He knew the Coalition would win the election by compiling data from social media.

Prof Stantic told Daily Mail Australia while some coin him as the 'Nostradamus' of the 21st century he merely uses hidden information in the vast volume of publicly available data.

How will he continue to do this, with Fakebook and Twatter banning conservatives every chance they get?

Methodology such as it was is no longer applicable for the reasons you stated. Besides, both Brexit & the 2016 election were “coin flips” — nobody ever saw heads come up twice in a row? I mean, couldn’t she just have been ‘lucky’ in her conclusions?
