true but what will be, will be.
I fear for my son and grandchildren in that circumstance.
But, if they have to fight for their freedoms, they will certainly cherish them for the rest of their lives, IMO.
If, God forbid, PDJT doesn’t prevail next year, your son and grandchildren will be left with no freedoms for which to fight.
The what will be, will be attitude is tragically blase when so much is at stake!!!
“I fear for my son and grandchildren in that circumstance. But, if they have to fight for their freedoms, they will certainly cherish them...”
Do they have what it takes to truly fight for freedom? We don’t (and I include myself). We talk, and we post, and we vote for the right people, but when it comes to actual fighting do we have what it takes? Do we know HOW to “fight” successfully? Are we waiting for someone to give the word? If so, what would the word be?
It’s always interesting to consider how we prevailed in the 1700s with only the basest forms of communications — fast horses, a lantern in a steeple, etc. Now we have everything available to us but here we/I sit. It is frustrating. And, once again, I’m glad I’m old, and that I don’t have children. (I do worry about nieces and nephews and their kids, though.)
Trump is going to win in a blow out.
