I read yesterday that Hogan thinks Reagan was a great president (I concur) but he hates Trump. He bragged that he wrote in his father's name in 2016 just to show what an "anti-Trumper" he is.
I doubt Hogan would even win the primary in Maryland against Trump in 2020 - and I am sure he would not prevail in a national.
I always felt that Ehrlich cared about his constituents but do not feel that way about Hogan at all.
The chances of larry hogan being re-elected are entirely based on who he runs against. Right now a used walmart plastic bag has a 50/50 chance of becoming the next Maryland governer.

Thank God for the electoral college then I guess. I do feel that people based on polls are really selling Trump short. Seriously if a trade deal breaks with China, Muellers report is a dud and the wall begins its construction in full force...who will stop him? Sanders? Harris? Biden?

Trump is right where Clinton and Obama were during this stage of their presidencies. And these are polls from a month ago during the shutdown.
What did Hogan say in this article that is so terrible?
He’s right that by polls, Trump’s approval is not real high, and amongst Repubs, he’s likely to win primary so it’s almost useless to primary against him.
Hogan certainly isn’t perfect, but he’s better than having a blatant Rat, and gee, somehow he managed to get elected a SECOND time in MD, not done since the ‘50s. Trump isn’t perfect either, solid conservative or not.
