In Afghanistan, the government, not to mention Afghan women, fear the U.S. will abandon them to the mercy of the Taliban.

Yeah. Given the absolutely nonexistent support NOW and the other harpies have given U.S. defense of women's rights in Afghanistan it's almost inevitable that they'll find their voices now. No sale, bud.

I do find it darkly fascinating how many of my liberal friends have turned on a dime and are now beating the war drums. They don't like being called on it, either.

... after all, NATO members committed in 2014 under Obama to increase their defense spending.

A commitment they had no intention of honoring.

Always keep in mind that Politico was established by thwarted Hillary backers after she lost her bid to gain the Democrat nomination in 2008 to Obama. They are not friendly to Republicans unless it fits into their plans for resurrection as a political force on the Left.

Will one of these Tools kindly explain what Obama's grand strategy was?

What was the End Game in Syria to be like? ISIS is largely crushed in the Euphrates River Valley. To my knowledge, the U.S. never withdrew diplomatic recognition to the Assad regime--which means that our troops there are invaders because the regime wants us gone. So, if we are not prepared to march on Damascus and defeat the Syrian Arab Army (and the Russian contingent), what are we doing there? Russia, Iran, Turkey, and the Assad regime all want ISIS punked. That is one goal we agree on!

Yet one of my psychotic Libtard friends on Fakebook (who is a West Point grad) was calling the President a traitor for wanting to withdraw from Syria because it helps Russia. (He then had a post complaining that the Administration convinced Turkey to buy U.S. Patriot missiles instead of Russian SA-20s--because Corporate greed). I digress.

We are faced with the following tantalizing prizes in the next 2 years-- (1) a peace deal in Afghanistan that will be better than the Paris peace deal for Vietnam in the 1970s. (2) The withdrawal of U.S. forces from Syria. (3) Regime change in Caracas without the direct intervention of U.S. forces. (3) A nuclear deal in Korea.

Already, several NATO members are spending more on their defense. And, frankly, any Euro who wants to complain about us being an unreliable partner better explain what his nation is doing to make NATO worth the bother to us.

Does anyone remember how Trump was going to start new wars? The "Nobel Peace Prize" winner who immediately preceded him started new wars.

"But such disruptions also come with costs. America’s European allies increasingly view the United States as unreliable."

This is like saying "ever since I started calling out my husband for beating me, he no longer sees me as a reliable wife."

Or a mother with a drug addled son saying "Ever since I stopped Jimmy from taking money from my purse, he no longer thinks of me as reliable."

So the question is: reliable for what? To be a reliable stooge? to be a reliable host to a parasite? To be reliably available to be abused?

Always with the inclusion of a ticked in implicit lie, or the omission of a truth or factoid or concept that requires at least 1/10th of a second of reflection to detect, the Left walks and spreads in its path delusion, power, and fantasy, and half the lumpen electorate takes no notice of the included lie or more often the omitted lego of reality that topples the house of cards the left calls proof of whatever dunderheaded notion they are hawking at the moment.

Great job - except for two existential problems.

Legal Immigration - essentially the same as Barack Obama.

Legal immigration last year - 1.15 million. Naturalized citizens - 750,000. H-1Bs - no change. OPT student work visas - up to 275,000.

Budget Deficit - $800 billion last fiscal year. This fiscal year - already $100 billion more than last year.

Bottom Line...

Roughly 30 million new immigrant legal voters and their USA born voter age children vote 70%-80% for the Democrat Party.

And, if we are broke, nothing else really matters.
