An Open Letter to NYS Republican County Chairman
Personal Opinion Vanity ^ | 11/14/2018 | Self

I read the state GOP Chairman's note on the GOP NYS website and it was pathetic. Ed Cox and the counties lost The NYS Senate for the first time in I don't know how long, decades. This election leaves Andy Cuomo in the Governor seat and control of BOTH Houses.

Add to this we lost Assembly seats that should have been won, John Faso in NY-19 is one of them.

You, the county Chairmen elect the State GOP Leader. You are continuing to support Ed Cox and his record is PATHETIC. As leaders you are called on to move the party forward, we are going backwards, no excuses.

If this were a professional sports team the coach would have been fired long ago, it's time to fire Ed Cox.

Unfortunately too many of you are too old and too entrenched in patronage politics to move the party to where it must be. YOU are the establishment. YOU have ruined this party, glad you and/or your committee members are more interested in county and state jobs than getting goo candidates to run and get elected.

You ineptitude will spawn a grassroots conservative group, perhaps even a NYS Tea Party. We won't have your money or power, but we will fix your mess and at least get candidates who will campaign on conservative principles. Trump would have come to NYS, but you and your candidates wanted to run as RINO's, you lost.

Time for conservatives to become part of the tea party and when appropriate become committeemen. Vote your county chairs OUT if they cannot elect a new competent visionary conservative state party leader.

Sorry, Assembly should have been "Congressional".

here’s a story...

Back in 2009 i was asked to be the Republican representative for Mt Kisco, NY- the town i live in, by a local rep...

I agreed and they put me in touch with a guy by the name of Doug Kolte, the loser who runs the Westchester county GOP...

after a little bit of back and forth i told them i was active in the Tea Party, sent them a video clip of Westchester native Dineen Borelli speaking at the 9-12-2009 Taxpayer March on DC, and told them we should knock on her door and ask her to run for Congress...

That was the final time i ever heard from Kolte or the GOP in Westchester...

The NY State Republican Party is a dysfunctional organization run by losers and incompetents.

The last 2 election cycles the GOP failed to even put up a candidate to run against 82 year old Nita Lowey who has represented Westchester for the last 30 years.

Here’s an interesting side story about the Kolte associate and former Rockland County Chairman.

Big mistake, coming from experience. The chairmen don't want "conservative activists" or any other person of principle. They prefer that a highway worker or county attorney join, that way they will vote for the chairman to keep their jobs. The Chairman, as you said, are mostly total losers.

They are in it mostly to protect their jobs, nothing about running good candidates and winning elections.

they actually had an Iraqi war veteran named Chris Day who ran against her in 2014 i believe...excellent candidate...

I spoke with his campaign manager and told him i would be more than happy to attend Lowey events and demand she release her taxes (she’s worth a reported $55 million) and ask why she puts illegals before Americans- he told me he didn’t want to rock the boat...

Yes I know Chris. He’s the current Orangetown Supervisor. That was 4 years ago.

Chelsea Clinton was in the news last week and said she would run for office if someone were to retire. I read that to be when Lowey retires. I think a Clinton Day race would be fun.

A friend and I went to a Christian Coalition event in 2000 to hear the primary contenders for GOP presidential race. They had smaller workshops too.

We were told New York State has THE WORST Republican Party in the nation. So, so RINO it was ridiculous. The moneymen got ahold of it and forget it. I had already been a district leader for four years and suddenly I realized why it was such a sham.

So I guess my thoughts are that it has been that way for a long time. It’s nothing new. Real conservatives suffer from rule at the top. There was a sort of conservative Republican Club and it got absorbed into a more RINO one—I was there when the GOP lackey walked right into the club meeting and announced that they were now part of a larger club.

Things like that were happening all the time.

Finally we get a New York conservative running for president and what do the country-club Republicans do? Half of them can’t wait to show how superior they are to Trump by attacking him with their snide remarks WHEN THEY ARE THE SPEAKER AT A REPUBLICAN CLUB MEETING!!!

I gave up in 2014 or 2015 and joined the Conservative Party. It’s a tiny bit better but I have a lot more self-respect.

There are signs of revival. Meetups and the like. But it’s very hard to work from the bottom up. As soon as they find out what you really believe, they jump someone over you and make sure you know you’ll never be respected in the party.

Our wonderful NY republican leadership (Skelos) also supported Cuomo against the republican Astorino for governor. It’s like they want to lose to the democrats.

Hi firebrand, here is a good book for you to read. It is a paperback titled “How the World Really
works” by Alan B. Jones.

It has 300 pages, is simple to read and covers all of the globalist plans and puts a lot of things in perspective, has enough detail but not more than you need to grasp the whole picture. You have got to read it. :^)
