They probably did. They have spent their whole lives getting their every whim met.

And their wishes minimized by reality with their whims at no more than just acceptance determined by people that think they are incapable of individual thought. And that’s the only part they get right about them because the defining people are, also, incapable of the same process. At that level, their is no individualism, just introduced mass hysteria. And another case of participation, not success.
