Feinstein and Schumer are now checking with the Clintons, to see if they can have the jet shot-down, blame it on the Russians, and then cancel the vote for an extended DC funeral - and lack of clear majority.

His vote is going to be needed and a Senator who puts his own personal issues ahead of the nation isn’t worthy of being a Senator.

Senator, I suggest you fly into Richmand and drive the rest of the way ... I’m guessing there will be ‘accidents’ that shut down BWI and Dulles tomorrow afternoon.

“Sen. Steve Daines says he’ll return to Washington D.C. by private jet on his daughter’s wedding day if his vote is needed to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.”
Poor guy, what a place to be in but WHAT A PATRIOT!!!!
Somehow I can’t believe his family and his daughter wouldn’t support him. I would picture them as selfless patriots themselves.
If he has to do this, he and his family will be HEROES to a HUGE number of people.

Who's to say the Dems can't come up with some crazy scheme where it looks like his vote isn't needed until it's too late for him to get back here. I saw a comment where the Rs said they would hold the vote open until he got back if he was needed. Can Grassley hold the vote open indefinitely or is there a time limit? So many arcane rules of order that I can't keep up, forgive me..

"IF needed"? Are they kidding?
You never know when deals will be made, spines will go soft, and votes will be flipped.
YES, his vote is most needed.
