Not all millennials have bought into the K-12 drivel, even the mainline protestant denomination liberal influences. They have watched and listened, and they see the difference in tone, in content, and in what they observe in the classroom versus what they know to be fact in their communities and their states and nation. The hatred expressed by Progressives of a duly-elected President has not missed their consciousness either.
Mine is a little bit different. Homeschooled, churched, and brought up right by my wife and I.
My daughter is really smart, but she is a feeler; she has a huge heart. She is only 24, got her degrees on full ride academic scholarships and is teaching for a year prior to pursuing a PhD. The feel good drivel from the left sounds good for those with compassion, but once she figures out what real compassion looks like... She is too smart to keep drinking the kool-aid. I give it about another 5 years before she moderates. She has been married for 5 years. I love my son-in-law, but he was a mild Bernie Boy (he wants other people to pay for his stuff, pretty common when you’re young & broke).
I do owe her a thanks. When her first boyfriend accosted her when she was asleep (no penetration involved), she took care of it by leaving, breaking it off, told her mother within a few days about what happened, and they both agreed to not tell me. That was a YUGE favor. Had I known about what happened contemporaneously, I would probably be in front of a parole board around now...
Given some of her life events, #metoo and #believeher are pretty much right in her wheelhouse right now. I have faith that her current political settings are changeable and will change.
