Psychologists have a fetish for the hippocampus, which is part of the limbic system aka “reptilian brain” which is associated with memory, emotions, and motivation. In lower animials it’s the “fight or flight” reflex, but in humans its involved with emotional links to memories, i.e. when something is “seared into your brain” by trauma, etc.
In other words, it’s a fancy PhD word that supports her position and reminds us she is smart. (As if the Smart Glasses weren’t enough).
Epinephrine and norepinephrine in the hippocampus is how memories get seared and that’s how I know it is true. Reminds me of my hypochondriac ex wife. Everything was about the diagnosis, but it was all based on a fractional knowledge of medicine.
I have to give President Trump credit for standing solidly behind Brett Kavanaugh through all of this. Some Presidents would have caved from the pressure.
I almost died once due to pilot error when a low time pilot. I spun in on a low turn slow to finals. Due to superior training by excellent instructors I recovered but seconds from death. I do not remember much of the that day before and after with the exception of the Chief Flying Instructor asking me what the hell happened. I remember the near death experience with absolute clarity. Those were the kindest words he said. The other words were rather harsh. Why can not Ford remember her tramatic experience with the clarity that I remember mine?
The answer is simple, she is either psychotic or a liar. I think she is a liar.
The two are not mutually exclusive .

she thinks she’s smart. but she is not. if she were she would not have been part of smearing Kavanaugh, her brain would have functioned properly and not allowed her to make wrongful accusations without some solid proof or at least real people to back up her claim. Because now there are likely millions of people who have seen just how wacked out another college professor is, and wonder what the heck are kids learning?
Ford is not smart by any stretch of the word, she is only self deluded with twisted bits of memories of a possible event happening to her.
Surprised no conservative commentators are picking up on the angry Irish drunk stereotype being pushed by all leftwing outlets. Ugly.
I sent Lindsey’s speech to my Marine buddy. He said the Marines are with Trump and his decisions 100%. The public needs to know this.

F the dems. Kavanaugh is conservative even if h is a squishy w publican. They have nothing against him. If the the GOPe. Will vote for him get him in
NPR....In the very first phrase they used not one but two pejoratives to describe Judge Kavanaugh. That’s some unbiased reporting, right there.....
