There is no good reason for Ford to testify before Congress. Her charges ar 36 years old and have no supporting evidence. All of the witnesses that she cited deny any knowledge of the incident. The letter that she sent to initiate this process is still concealed by her supporter. In any reasonable environment, giving her a forum in the US Congress would be a joke. If she tried to go to court, any half-way reasonable judge would dismiss it for lack of evidence. Before a grand jury, it wouldn’t even pass the ham sandwich test.
