On this, Mr. Carter is completely correct, but a large portion of today’s Dems don’t want to hear that answer.
Most of the Old Guard of the Democrat Party knows this is true, but they are fewer in number and their influence is quickly diminishing.

I have heard the same sentiment toward moderation from Howard Dean, surprisingly, Nancy Pelosi, when she expressed displeasure with Mad-Maxine Waters threats, and Dianne Feinstein. All three get virtual rocks thrown at them by the Progressives every time they talk about ‘getting along with’ the GOP in any way.

[On this, Mr. Carter is completely correct,]

Yes he is. The GOP has tons of good campaign material supplied by the lunatics themselves. They should be painting them as extremists and out of the mainstream 24/7. Show examples of the crazy rhetoric from multiple Dem candidates constantly. Show if their policies are enacted how it will affect multiple constituencies negatively.

This cycle was a prime opportunity to nationalize the election showing the stark contrast between policies of both parties/Trump.
