Trump’s alleged peccadilloes took place over 10 years ago as a private citizen.
Carter was a complete disaster as president. He helped topple the Shah, because the Ayatollah was “a godly person”. He gave us inflation and 15% mortgage rates and a recession all at the same time, an almost impossible trick. He gave away the Panama Canal. He allowed the Iranians to capture our embassy and micro-managed the failed rescue attempt. He was so bad that if I had a choice between Carter and Obama, and couldn’t choose anyone else, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Obama. He was that bad.
