Not too different from the method we use here in PA. We WANT the process to be transparent and also welcome credentialed observers to ensure that it is. I stress credentialed because during the March district 18 special election (similar to this one), we had precincts reporting of uncredentialed “observers” demanding extraordinary access. They were shown the door. I don’t need to tell you which party they represented.
there should be a tally sheet that those board workers who expect to get paid indicate how many voters showed up. How many voted . And the workers sign the count sheet.
How many ballots they had at the start , how many were used , how many are returned unused, etc.
