In my experience Gowdy is there to yell and yell and yell at the guilty in front of honest Americans so that by the time the guilty ARE TO ACTUALLY BE JUDGED, rather than merely publicly shamed, they have the appearance of having already been punished and so America is more likely to not punish those who are about to let the guilty go free.

That is, Gowdy is there to inoculate, vaccinate, the guilty against their own crime ... to give Americans a fake catharsis so that they lose the will to enact justice. Trey Gowdy is a vaccine injected into us, with a mild sedative.

This act has been going on for a long long long long long long long long time.

PROBABLY this is becuase they are ALL guilty, and every damn one of them has the goods, in some form, on the others.

It is not a vast conspiracy. It is far more disgusting. It is a vast gentlemens' agreement.

He is no longer a prosecutor, he is a Congressman. His job is to pass laws and attend committee meetings.
