I hope Rep. Cramer can win the Senate race, but ND seems to have an affinity for “Heidi” and it is not the girl from the Alps.
Not a biker but was in Sturgis c. 1991 at the time the bikers were there. Hard to find a hotel room too
Heat illnesses in 80 degree weather? LOL, I’m from Phoenix!!! Shucks, it was 110 when Mr RooRoo and I stood in line for hours for the Phoenix Trump rally last August. We’d do it again in a heart beat. Trump is a true force of nature, attending one if his rallies is a true bucket list item.
Because you live in a place that is usually very hot in the summer, you are probably really good at keeping hydrated. Maybe its time for PDJT to have water trucks available for refilling water bottles.
They’ll get the last laugh in January though. Zero degrees, hell, shorts and t-shirt weather.
Aw Jeez, if this had been an Obamessiah rally he’d have healed them on the spot! [/s]
Heh! It'll be winter shortly though.
Seems like it takes about 1 year for your body to acclimate, about 1-2 more before it feels "normal".
I'm lying. Phoenix never felt "normal": 98-degree lows in August are alien.
Acclimation is the key.
The Boston Marathon had an American woman winner this year because it was a DREADFUL day, cold and rainy.
The African women runners didn’t stand a chance.
.
What kind of humidity do you get in Arizona? In New Jersey the humidity can top 50%+ and temps hit 92-95 along with it.
Phoenix air is dry in general, but during monsoon season (June 15 to Sept 15) the humidity can be as high as 40 to 50 percent. Put that together with tempuratures above 105 degrees—that is MISERABLE weather. But the other 9 months of the year we have fantastic weather.
