Mitt Romney addressed a closed-door tech summit in Utah on Thursday, telling the room he thinks President Donald Trump -- the man he once called a phony and a fraud -- will solidly win re-election in 2020, reports said.
Romney, a former Massachusetts governor, now running for a U.S. Senate seat in Utah, told a group of GOP donors that Trump will easily be the partys nominee and go on to beat his Democratic rival, Politico reported.
"I think that not just because of the strong economy and the fact that people are going to see increasingly rising wages, but I think it's also true because I think our Democrat friends are likely to nominate someone who is really out of the mainstream of American thought and will make it easier for a president who's presiding over a growing economy," Romney said....

That is possible, but Trump has laid the groundwork to make our economy strong enough to withstand a lot of that.
It will begin in Europe, causing money to flee to America, skewing the dollar value until we are also hit by a meltdown.
There is very little we can do to lessen the effect. All actions have negative consequences as well as positive.
Given the extremely high debt levels across the board in America, when we get to that point, it will be catastrophic.
Not saying it will be before his re-election in 20, it will happen. Plan accordingly.
Romney still needs to win a GOP primary. Hope he loses it and we get a conservative.

And yet all over the news... classic Romney.
If that were to happen we would be in a position to call ALL the "shots". More money in this country gives us strength. After WW2 most of the world was a Total WRECK. The US was the Only major country that was left untouched financially we saved Europe with the Marshal Plan.
