The family of Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) does not plan to invite President Donald Trump to the senator’s funeral when the time comes, according to a New York Times report.
McCain and Trump have long had a contentious relationship, including Trump slamming McCain and insisting he was not a war hero during his 2016 campaign.
“He’s not a war hero,” Trump said back then, referring to the former prisoner of war. “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured.”
The relationship did not get better after Trump was elected, particularly after Trump mocked McCain after he voted against a key Obamacare repeal.
According to NBC, it is McCain’s wish that Trump not attend....

And to believe I actually voted for this guy. .................................... Most did, because Palin was on the ticket. If she wasn’t he would have gone down in flames with a one state win. He really wasn’t Presidential material to begin with, then again, neither were most of his competitors.
McCain is now also complaining about having chosen Sarah Palin instead of his friend, Joe Lieberman.

Don’t know why he didn’t campaign harder there, but I am glad he lost. Yes it gave us Obama. But the lord works in mysterious ways. Maybe it had to be that way.

McCain is a man of honor, his service in the U.S. armed forces.
However, he should have not won the 2008 Republican nomination.

I hope he asks for forgiveness for his treason and accepts Christ as his savior instead of the democRATs before he dies. I always hope there is a chance for salvation. But this one is a dim bulb and it would really surprise me.
