A young woman whose brutal rape and lengthy fight for justice spurred Sen. Al Franken to sponsor a law to help sexual assault victims wants his name off the legislation after a woman accused him of groping her.
Abby Honold, 22, said she was stunned on Thursday when she learned of the arch-liberal Frankens piggish behavior and said she decided to part ways with the hypocritical creep.
He was one of the few people who listened to me and actually let me talk, Honold told The Washington Post. It felt really validating to be heard and to see something come from my experience that was positive for other people.
Its really difficult when someone who has been a champion for you turns out to be the exact opposite for someone else.
Honold was raped while a student at the University of Minnesota after a tailgate party in November 2014 by Daniel Drill-Mellum, who later pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct and was sentenced to six years in the slammer.....

More money to train cops on how to investigate rape cases. Naturally, he’s a Democrat so always there must be more $$$. I bet cops could figure it out on their own if given half a chance.
Now some other big spending liberal Democrat can spend big over this now that she gave Franken the heave-ho.
Well I have to say I’m surprised by Franken, he has done some positive things like sponsoring this legislation but now all this nasty behavior comes to the front.

All the Democrats were willing to give Bill Clinton a pass.
Franken will likely survive.

I want his name on the bill as a testament to the hypocrisy of Washington.
