Well, with Hillary having run for president, the Democrats have set up a precedent, whereby wives of former Democrat presidents run for president.

And, given the focus on identity politics, having a woman or member of a minority group on the ticket is essential for the Democrats.

I’ve heard some say, that the 2004 ticket of John Kerry and John Edwards, will be the last Democrat ticket with two white men. Given the liberal compulsion to celebrate diversity, a presidential ticket will have to be diverse from now on.

The only possible way Democrats could have two white men on a ticket, would be if one is a homosexual. Given that homosexuality is now revered among the liberals, such a candidacy would be ok. But two straight white men, forget it.
