We all know there were AT LEAST 20 MILLION illegals here and 800k is a lot but let’s talk population. We’ve been aborting our own for 40 years and lost 55 million not including the second generation they never conceived. I will NEVER stay home from voting. Why? I think DACA was an evil genius plan by the previous administration to continue if another dem won or to cause havoc if they lost. It was obviously not obama’s idea.

Those who call for 100% deportations of them would never raise puppies from a stray dog for years then drive the mature dogs a thousand miles away and set them loose, but they have no problem doing it to human beings.
So if you accept the premise that it has to be all or nothing then you're willing to accept millions in the deal because of chain migration.

Congressman Steve King’s base is almost identical to the base of Ted Cruz not Donald Trump...one need only to look at 2016 caucus results to recognize this fact.
Rep. King himself actively opposed Trump in 2016. The notion that his base and Trump’s base are identical is absurd.
If Trump has a base in Iowa its in Fremont county down in the southwest corner of the state...its the only county he won on caucus night.
The same people that vote for Trump would also vote for Steve King if they lived in his district. If you want to argue, just do some research on Steve King’s efforts on ending illegal immigration. Steve King’s ideology is a whole lot stronger than Trump’s. This is now clear.

OKI - let’s hear your solution that will allow the President to actually get something done - “only ifs” allowed - stick with reality. Everyone is so damn good at bitching and whining but it’s all they seem to have in their arsenal.
We must get 10000000% of what we want in this deal and the other side nothing. That is how deals are done. Or not.
Then again, the left has been getting little bits of it’s agenda in deals for years. They keep working on what they don’t get, get a little more later and keep chipping away. It has worked well for them.
But not us!!! We must be bold and demand ALL or nothing, which will turn into nothing. I mean, it’s not like Trump has opposition from his own party (democrat in republican clothing-DIRC) and the democrats (who are truthful about who they are at least). In the face of this opposition he should say: all or nothing. That is the art of the deal or the art of getting nothing.
Trump loses or keeps me based on the entirety of the deal. I’ll let 800,000 stay to keep 8,000,000 out. I’ll let 800,000 stay if it buys goodwill for Teumpmri keep deporting the criminals and turning ICE and the Border patrol loose.
