Hundreds of articles from every state in the union? I think the people hired for those positions told other people. I think the ex-wives who are now receiving child support told their friends. I think the suppliers of the new factories and stores shared the story. The people who applied for those jobs told others. The guy who was unemployed and now is a factory manager or foreman crowed about it.
I hope you are right. What's important is "word of mouth" and personal experience.
But right now, I am not seeing it, neither personally, nor with any of my acquaintances throughout my state ( wages flat, few opportunities to go elsewhere ).
I don't see things getting worse, just not changing enough to keep up with the general increases of the "cost of living", which translates into apathy at the polls.
