True, but a similar thing was said in late April when the current CR was signed - ‘no shutdown now, but wall funding will be in a Sept budget or there’ll be a shutdown then’.
This Congress seems once again to have wormed its way out of working on an actual budget and of funding the border wall. I have little confidence they won’t try to do the same in Dec too.

The reality is, in the last 3-4 months while (supposedly) “McMaster” or “Jared/Ivanka” have had “great influence” over Trump, he’s achieved a list of things that would make Reagan’s head spin.

If I recall, president Trump said the wall will be built and Mexico will pay for it. Watch what happens with NAFTA.
